Sweeter Things to Come

I know it's been several years since I last posted.  I can blame it on being busy (which is the truth), but I also go through phases where I am really interested in blogging, and then could care less.  I am trying to turn over a new leaf in my life.  I found out 2 1/2 weeks ago that my job was being eliminated, and I feel like my world has just been turned upside down ever since.  I thought I was over crying about it, until I saw an announcement go out today about a lunch in my honor next Tuesday, which is my last day.  It's finally sinking in that I'm leaving the last 7 years of my work life behind and starting all over again.  Especially when I expected to retire from this company.  I've been trying to stay positive, but I'll be the first to admit that change is very hard for me.  So here's to starting a new chapter in my life. Hopefully this is just the beginning of sweeter things to come!
